If there existed a crop of albums that contained songs that some listeners loved as much as others hated, Rmxxology, a compilation from the Delicious Vinyl All-Stars would fit that bill. As the title would suggest, the album is a remix collection that features artists like The Brand New Heavies, The Pharcyde and Masta Ace to name a few. Nevertheless, it is what the assembled producers ranging from Eminem to Pink Enemy bring to this eclectic mix that shapes the album. The aforementioned "beatsmiths" amongst others featured on this collection; produce alternative versions of some classics including immortalized tracks like Passin Me By and Never Stop. Some of these remixes work way better than others, but that is completely open to debate. Nevertheless, this blend of hip hop, electronica, soul and funk is guaranteed to make one Bust a Move a la Young MC. TURN OFF THE RADIO!
