Once Again...

Year after year, VH-1 fails miserably with its choice of annual Hip-Hop Honorees- and this year is no different. While I have no qualms with their selections, which include Cypress Hill, Too Short, De La Soul, Slick Rick and Naughty by Nature, all of whom are considerably better choices than those honored in recent years, the problem lies in who has yet to be honored. I akin this event to the NFL Hall of Fame ceremony and with that said, I can only question when artists such as Gang Starr, EPMD, The Juice Crew and Scarface will be acknowledged. Nevertheless; the event should be worth watching on Oct. 7th, as it would be a welcomed change from VH-1's normal programming.

Let's just hope nobody fouls up during their tributes a la Lupe leading to another Fiascogate.
