My self-appointed mentor, Cedric “Big Ced” Thornton (www.theindustrycosign.com), has been around the game for what seems like eons. Hailing from the Boogie-Down Bronx, it wouldn’t be hard to fandom him being at Sedgwick Avenue and Cedar Park, where and when it all began. I value his opinions with the utmost regards; I mean how can you doubt a man whose face was once used for the album rating system for Blaze Magazine? Furthermore, I don’t know too many video hos (he played MC Lyte’s trifling love interest in Paper Thin and the boy who looked like he rode the short bus in Monie Love’s Monie In The Middle) for lack of better words who made the jump from being all in the videos [Suge voice] to being a respected media personal, the industry cosigner.
