While perusing the internet not only was I pleased to find a flattering picture of Rah Digga, formerly of the Flipmode Squad, but I was also happy to find out she will be releasing new music. Despite a solid release back in ’99, Rah has failed to release to her sophomore album since then (Not by her own doing of course). Nevertheless, 99’s Dirty Harriet, as well as a few features here and there, have solidified Rah Digga’s presence as one of the few authentic emcees without all that extra baggage as the extract from a recent RZA interview would suggest, “Of course you've got great emcees like Foxy [Brown] and [Lil] Kim and them, but Rah Digga, Bahamadia - those kind of girls that are [supreme] lyricists without the curls.”
